Dear Friends,
This winter was extraordinary—particularly February, the coldest in 36 years. Average monthly temperatures registered 21.2 degrees, with the last two weeks of the month being the coldest stretch in our area since 1874!
Those kinds of temperatures, combined with snow, sleet and ice storms, create challenges for everyone’s personal comfort, but it’s even harder for families struggling to make ends meet. That’s why for many years we’ve partnered with Manna on Main Street in Lansdale to provide heating oil to families in need each winter.
Last fall, through our Heat for the Holidays program, we donated and installed heating systems for two homeowners. We felt humbled that we could make such a big difference in the lives of these families. One family had such serious issues that the children had to be removed from the home until corrections were made. We’re proud to say that the family has been reunited and now lives in a safe home environment.
Taking care of it for customers and other people in our community is a big part of the Walton difference. We’re particularly proud of the hours, the effort, the care and goodwill that our people put into their jobs — this winter and throughout the year.
As we look forward to all the warmer days ahead, we hope you’ll give us a call to talk about any of the ways we can help you keep more comfortable and save money.
Warmly,
Terry, Chris and Scott Walton
