Customers with propane or natural gas systems can receive comprehensive coverage with a Walton Silver Gas Plan. This plan includes both heating and cooling system tune-ups for less than you would pay for the tune-ups alone.

Silver Gas Plan
Annual Price $239

Silver Gas Plan includes:

  • two annual tune-ups
  • 15% discount on heating and cooling repairs and diagnostic fees
  • priority service

Heating tune-up will be scheduled between Aug. 15 and Oct. 15, and includes:

  1. Perform efficiency test.
  2. Test for carbon monoxide.
  3. Inspect and adjust burner.
  4. Check thermostat operation.
  5. Lubricate all motors, bearings, fans and circulator pumps (if necessary).
  6. Inspect pilot assembly.
  7. Inspect and adjust operation of safety and operating controls.
  8. Inspect flue pipe and gas valve.
  9. Check blower motor (and belt, if applicable).
  10. Inspect and tighten all wiring and connections.
  11. Inspect heat exchanger.
  12. Check air filter (and replace, if necessary).
  13. Inform customer of equipment condition. Recommend necessary repairs.

Cooling tune-up will be scheduled between March 15 and May 15, and includes:

  1. Lubricate all moving parts, such as blower motor and condenser fan (if necessary).
  2. Check suction line temperature and pressure.
  3. Check temperature drop between return and supply air.
  4. Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow.
  5. Clean outdoor condenser coil.
  6. Check blower motor (and belt, if applicable).
  7. Check blower speed.
  8. Inspect all controls for proper operation.
  9. Check voltage and amperage in all motors.
  10. Check for worn bearings in all motors.
  11. Inspect operation and condition of compressor contacts.
  12. Inspect start and run capacitors and relays for bulges, rust and leaks.
  13. Tighten and inspect all wires and connections.
  14. Inspect and adjust thermostat/mercury bulb.
  15. Check air filter (and replace, if necessary).
  16. Inform customer of equipment condition. Recommend necessary repairs.
