If you haven’t done so already, we’d like to encourage our customers to participate in programs and services designed to help the environment. This will help us further cut down on paper waste. With your help, we may even save a few more trees along the way.
This reduces the amount of paper coming into your home. Instead of mailing you a billing statement, your bill comes to you through email. And when you match paperless billing with AutoPay, we can let you know right away when we’re about to take a payment.
With this program, you save paper on your end–stamps, checks, etc.) Your payments will be deducted automatically each month, either from your credit card or bank account. It’s your choice. And you’ll get peace of mind knowing that your bill will always be paid on time.
You can request switching over to Auto Pay and Paperless Billing by going here.
Most of our customers love managing their Walton’s account with our online Customer Portal. It’s secure, user-friendly and gives you access to all of your account information in one digital space. That’s much better than rummaging through a file cabinet overstuffed with paper receipts and other documents. It’s easy to register for our Customer Portal!
Beyond cutting down on paper waste, we’re committed to helping customers reduce their carbon footprint by reducing emissions. Our company has invested significantly to do exactly that.
For starters, we only deliver premium, clean-burning heating oil from carefully chosen distributors. This means you’ll get better efficiency, a smaller carbon footprint, and less wear and tear on your equipment
On the propane side, we’re also proud to provide a fuel that produces next-to-zero greenhouse gas emissions or air pollutants, making it a clean-burning energy source. It can reliably and efficiently heat homes and water, fuel multiple indoor and outdoor appliances and even power motor vehicles.
If you use propane appliances in your home instead of electric ones, you’re doing your part to help the environment. Propane is one of the cleanest carbon-based fuels! Because of that, the average propane-powered home reduces carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 30% compared to all-electric homes. What’s more, direct use of propane for space heating, water heating, cooking and clothes drying reduces greenhouse gas emissions up to 50%.
Technology has improved dramatically over the years and the new systems we install are much more efficient than the boilers and furnaces we installed for our customers decades ago. When we say efficient, we mean that the heating system generates more heat with less fuel, which translates to big savings on your annual home heating costs.
You can expect to reduce your annual fuel expenses by 20% or more—depending on the age and efficiency of your current system—along with virtually eliminating high repair bills.
A new heating system is also a green choice. Emissions from an old system can be significantly reduced by upgrading to a high-efficiency heating oil or propane gas heating system. Today’s heating fuel systems are efficient and their emissions are negligible.
Don’t wait until your heating system fails on the coldest day next winter! Start doing your research now on a new boiler installation or furnace installation.
