  1. Make sure that the oil burner switch is on.
  2. Adjust your thermostat several degrees above room temperature.
  3. Make sure there is oil in the tank.
  4. Press the re-set button on the relay (but only once).
  5. Check for a flame.
  6. If burner isn’t running at all, check for a blown or loose fuse.
