PECO Customers: Take advantage of Rebates up to $800.00 from the Electrical Association of Philadelphia (EAP).

EAP LogoThe 2014 Spring Heating & AC Rebate Program started just recently on February 8th, 2014. It is one of the few rebate Programs for Heat Pump & Air Conditioning Customers in the PECO Service Area that is currently in effect. The best part about the EAP Rebates, is that they are in addition to the already existing PECO Smart Home Rebates, which can yield up to an additional $400 to offset the net cost to upgrade your older inefficient system. Most homes that have a 12-15 year old air conditioner or heat pump are typically at a 10 SEER rating in efficiency. Today’s leading manufacturers are now achieving 20+ SEER, so the opportunity for savings is clear. You can even check out our Energy Savings Calculator to see the difference in dollars: Walton Energy Savings Calculator

Here is the schedule of the various rebates available:

Residential High Efficiency Equipment (Manufacturer Approved Matches)
$300 on a 14.5 to 14.99 SEER, 8.2 HSPF, 12.0 EER, (or higher) heat pump
$300 on a 15.0 to 15.99 SEER, 8.2 HSPF, 12.0 EER, (or higher) central a/c
$500 on a 15.0 to 16.99 SEER, 8.5 HSPF, 12.5 EER (or higher) heat pump
$500 on a 16.0 to 16.99 SEER, 13.0 EER (or higher) central a/c system
$700 on a 17.0 or higher SEER, 8.5 HSPF, 13.0 EER (or higher) heat pump
$700 on a 17.0 or higher SEER, 13.0 EER (or higher) central a/c system
$800 on an 18 EER geothermal heat pump system (or higher)
